E-Pedigree leverages the revolutionary trading partner network configurability and efficient on-ramping capabilities of the Nexus collaboration services system. Companies can quickly link to their trading partners on a per-process basis by using the Nexus Trading Partner Directory to search for and connect to pre-configured trading partner business profiles. In addition, companies can profile their own business operations and connectivity preferences, publishing this for trading partners to use during integration, speeding interoperability development and testing.
Trading Partner Connectivity for Pedigree and RxASN
SupplyScape helped define the GS1 EPCglobal Drug Pedigree Messaging Standard E-Pedigree supports and is certified as conformant with the standard to ensure interoperability with trading partners. E-Pedigree leverages the extensive trading partner connectivity services of Nexus to securely create, transmit, and receive pedigree data with trading partners. Because of the diversity of technical capabilities across the supply chain, pedigree information can be conveyed through EDI systems via AS2, secure FTP, and other means.
For companies that need to provide RxASN documents, E-Pedigree contains the ability to create and transmit these documents through the Nexus service foundation.
SupplyScape also offers optional Trading Partner Management services for companies who desire to outsource the management of EDI-based pedigree data management. For these companies, SupplyScape can use the embedded B2B gateway services of the hosted SaaS platform to provide for trading partner connectivity. In addition, the SupplyScape Operations team can handle all trading partner setup and ongoing maintenance of these B2B connections.

A core service provided by the Nexus foundation is the ability to offer your customers a fully featured Pedigree Portal. The Portal enables your customers to receive, send, and manage their pedigrees over the Web by providing branded, portal-based access to the E-Pedigree system functionality.
